Оn May 12-18, the 8th Global Road Safety Week will be held worldwide. Ukraine will traditionally join the global initiative, which includes a series of planned events.
The 8th Global Road Safety Week will take place under the slogan “Streets for Life” and will focus on two areas:
– Make Cycling Safe;
– Make Walking Safe;
The activities of the Week to be held in Ukraine:
– A thematic round table with online broadcasting, involving transport industry professionals, relevant government departments representatives, public organizations and experts;
– Launch of the 8th All-Ukrainian youth photo and video works competition of the national project “Safe Country”;
– Educational training for children at the National specialized children’s hospital “OHMATDYT” within the national project “Safe Country”, together with state institution “Superheroes School” of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
– Round table: “Transport Safety in Today’s Conditions. Implementation of European Experience in Improving Transport Safety, Modern Challenges for Carriers”;
– Annual unified online lesson on road safety;
– Nationwide blood donation action “Give Blood to Save Lives”, and others.
