In Ukraine, the 8th Global Road Safety Week kicked off with a roundtable discussion with the participation of specialists from relevant government agencies and non-governmental organizations. They discussed the situation with road safety in Ukraine, in particular, the state of accidents in the country and new legislative initiatives regarding road safety; the quality of roads and street infrastructure, problems of treatment of victims of road accidents, educational programs for young road users, and other relevant issues.
Experts noted that the accident situation remains complex and requires joint efforts in the context of the challenges facing our country.
